Love is Lonely

When you close your eyes,

What do you see?

I see a lonely, sad child,

Trying very hard to the best.

Wanting to believe,

Wanting to hope,

Wanting to be loved,

When all is there is none.

Searching for the light,

Wondering, “Why?”

Open your eyes,

What do you see?

Close you eyes again,

Hold yourself, you lonely, sad child.

Softly whisper:

“I’ll be there, when you are falling.”

I feel alone,

As each day passes by,

The depression is taking over,

Like my life is one big lie.

I’m tired of acting happy,

I want this all to end,

I want the pain to go away forever,

I want to see my friend.

I’m starting to take pills,

For my depression to go away,

I’m praying to God they’ll work,

And that I’ll be [......]

I always thought you were smart.
Smart enough to know what’s right and wrong
To know the difference between win and lose.
I see you walking down this hideous path.
The path full of negative thinking.
Why would you think bad things about you?
Aren’t you good enough to know already?
To  know that you are better than them in some ways?
Look [......]

Love has broken me

And deep inside it tortured me,

My heart’s now turned into stone

Because of broken promises

I cry juicy tears of blood,

Just to let the pain out of me

Thinking of love makes me sick.

Thinking of the broken memories of love,

Makes me hate the world

And tell me not to fall in love again.

But slowly.

It’s aching
And bleeding
It’s brooding
Am trembling

It’s yearning
For some loving
It’s musing
‘bout a soothing.

With a rapture
Though am hustling

Outside you see me smiling

Inside Im really dying

People think Im ok

But every second Im crying

Im done with fake smiles and happiness

Now my worlds filled with frowns and sadness

I would care less if I ended up dead

If you see me just lay me in my bed

And let me rest in peace forever

It will hurt you that [......]

I will never forget what we had,
And remembering it all just makes me sad.

I will never forget the days we spent &
The days that came and the days that went.

I will never forget your smiling face &
Knowing deep down, no one can take your place.

I will never forget the times we shared,

I believed all you said.
I laughed at your jokes even when they weren’t funny
And I believed you when you said you didn’t have any money.
How can you sleep at night knowing what you’ve done.
How can you not even care about your only son.
Having 3 girls doesn’t make you a dad
