What you did was wrong but I still love you Hits: 3385 Sad Love Poems

It hurt so very bad,
No one sees that I am sad,
I long for arms to hold me,
Is it too hard to see?
I need you here today,
But that will never be,
At least I can think back on the days,
When you belonged to me.
You think that you're so funny,
Wait til the cold hands grab your throat,
you start to choke,
you will not cope,
you will be buried in the lies you have told.
I cant believe you,
What you did was so wrong,
But i still love you,
And i will forever long.

What do i have to do? Hits: 4049 Depressing Poems

What do I have to do?
I can’t tell you
Use your brain
To see I’m in pain
Agony in fact
Has deep impact
Crushing hopes dreams and ambitions
With no inhibitions
You could at least try
To stop shouting when I cry
To stop nagging when I’m down
Or stop talking when I frown
Work with me
Not against me
Push me along
Not back to where I’m from
I’m trying so hard to pick myself up
But I’m stuck
And you’re not helping

What do I have to do?
To show I need you
I can’t kneel on the ground
You’ll kick me around
My insides already bruised and broken
My words already spoken
Your ears always shut
And you can’t even look
At the daughter that came from you

You must be ashamed…

So am I

We're keeping afloat Hits: 1816 Short Rhyming Poems

Hanging around this sinking ship, how'd this start?
you're breaking down, and you're falling apart
Splinters of you in my skin
apart of me now, you're breaking in
Let's recover that old treasure chest
grab our memories and burn the rest
Dusting off reminders is an act so jaded
looking back at a picture now faded
So I'll rebuild you one more time
commit just one more crime
Piece by piece I put you back together
out alone in this stormy weather
I show you my weakness
but thru your eyes I'm speechless
So close those eyes, enjoy the ride
and imagine the things we'll learn tonight
"We're keeping afloat." Yeah you might be right
but everything seems so black or white
So open those eyes, see the grey
I've boarded a lifeboat, and floated away.

We played like we were sisters Hits: 4368 Sister Poems

You’ve seen me at my worst
You’ve seen me at my best
You’ve listened to my troubles
And helped them lay to rest

I wish you knew how much I miss you
I wish you knew how much I care
I wish you knew how many times
I’ve wished you were just right there

To talk about the old times
When life was so carefree
And we played like we were sisters
Even though it couldn’t be

We’ve been friends for so long
Ever since we were two and three
But then something small went wrong
And it grew too fast to see

I think talking was the key
That seemed to be out of grasp
And it slowly divided our friendship
Like poison from an asp

Then before I could comprehend
What had happened to two best friends
It ended up being farther than a walk next door
But a journey of a whole lot more

It doesn’t take long to get there
But it seems so far away
And since life isn’t always fair
I just hope to get there someday

And maybe I can celebrate
Your special day with you
I hope it will be this one
But I haven’t got a clue

So hopefully sometime
Our separation will end
And it will also finish
The journey of two best friends

(Dedicated to Andrea Bayles)

We are not lonely Hits: 5660 Lonely Poems

To be less lonely
I came to sing my life for you
to be less lonely
and share the music between us
Our loves that blaze
Our reasons that tremble
Our destinies that are so alike
to be less lonely
When you left the door of your place
I was already lonely
The head full of our date
Our loves that blaze
Our reasons that tremble
All this that tonight we are alike
We are not lonely
Since we are together

Waiting for Your Love Hits: 8957 Short Love Poems

I need you
I need a hug
Just once I would like to be loved
I want to feel whole
I want to feel secure
but that's impossible
when your not here
I don't know who you are
I don't know if I ever will
One day I hope we meet
so you can sweep me off my feet
I want to have that feeling
the one that everyone gets
when they know it's right
and they have no regrets
Will you ever be here with me?
not caring what other people believe
I hope so and
I hope so soon because
I'll be waiting....
waiting here for you

untitled melodies Hits: 605 Short Rhyming Poems

Once there was a girl, so loved by me
Everyday I would come to see
Just a glimpse of how she is
My heart teases me almost everyday
She smiles so nicely
And talks so gently

Inspiring me frequently
Wish she could see
The brightness she brings
Clings almost daily
Join me in a cup of tea
We talk and seem happy
What else could I asked
Contentment found its match

Now I see, your getting married
Sad to say it wasn’t me
However I am happy
Whatever that might be

What else could I say?
I’m too scruffy
Love now finally found a way
Letting go might not be easy
For this I pray, always be happy
Someone is here for you to stay

Untitled Hits: 2127 Inspirational Poems

I wandered for what seemed forever
I searched all the lands
but I could not hope
no not ever
that I would find an oasis
from which I could drink
such sweet waters
nor taste fruit
that gave so much pleasure

Unrecognized Love Hits: 1244 Rhyming Love Poems

Sweet in composure
Elegant in stance
Devine in posture
And passionate in romance

Believed to be untouchable
secretly, seeking love
Many find her desirable
She doesn’t feel the above.

Defiantly she meets him he sweeps her of her feet
In his arms, she finds comfort, for months that begin to meet

Family unaware and believing she sits at home frozen
Waiting for the man, that her parents have chosen
She is a free spirit though, and has already found love
In the arms of a common boy, found in the dirt pushed and shoved
He is not right for her, says the society where she lives
Alas it is her heart, that says he has all the love to give
They will never live happy, the family will protest
And their love never be recognized, their souls will not rest

They run far away from it all, so that they live together alone
Now they have nothing, and slowly she starts to miss home
Her family tried to find her and searched for a year
And the girl and her lover keep traveling with no money in fear
The winter months approached, and the family ended their search
Built a grave on a mountain where the little birds could perch
She knew the way home all along, anytime she could leave
But she needed to stay with him, this is what she believed

With no money and no food, they found a tiny manger to stay
And there they cuddled up and watched the winter pass away
When it was over, a man found their bodies, holding hands together
Till this day their spirits live on forever.
