True Friend Hits: 5350 Best Friend Poems

You can make and find friends easily
But they may not be your true friends
There are friends who you can go out, talk and have fun with
Who will treat you nice
But you never know who the real ones and the fake ones
When I met this girl, called Beth
Seemed to be mean
But when I got to know her
I was sure I have found my real friend
She has never jealous with me
Has never talked about me behind my back.
She can keep secrets
The one who I can trust
She is always there for me not only through good times
But also through bad times
Unlike some friends that are just there through good times;
don't really care when you are down.
A true friend for me is someone like Beth.

Triple Filter Test Hits: 2061 Short Inspirational Stories

In ancient Greece, Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem. One day one fellow met the great philosopher and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?". "Hold on a minute," Socrates replied. "Before telling me anything I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple Filter Test.". "Triple filter?". "That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the triple filter test. The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?" "No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and...". "All right," said Socrates. "So you don't know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second filter, the filter of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?" . "No, on the contrary...". "So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him, but you're not certain it's true. You may still pass the test though, because there's one filter left: the filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?" "No, not really." "Well,"concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?" This is why Socrates was a great philosopher & held in such high esteem. Friend, use this triple filter each time u hear loose talk about any of your near & dear friends.

Trapped Hits: 1017 Short Rhyming Poems

I never ever imagined to fall into this trap,
Feeling so useless and dumb sitting in this gap.
The distance between us is farther than I had hope,
You left me hanging I have begun to choke.
Why did you ever be with me if you only gave me neglect?
I will remember you forever and wonder in regret.
What intention did you have for me or was it just a game?
Well congrats you have won this you have made me gone insane.

Together we were perfect Hits: 5820 Short Love Poems

Together we were like Bonnie and Clyde,
Willing to ride and die for each other.
Nothing mattered when it came to us.
Together we were like Justin and Britney,
A match made in heaven. Envied by many for
the love that we felt for one another.
Together we were like Frodo and Sam,
We never would have made it far without each other.
Always looked out for one another, and never let anyone disrespect one of us.
Together we were like Siegfried and Roy,
The magic we created would have never been possible
if it hadn't been for each other.
Together we were perfect,
I still believe, even though you lost sight.
And for me to forget, would be like losing a fight.

Today is your birthday Hits: 545 Birthday Poems

Today is your birthday.
I can only think of one thing to do,
to show you how much I care.
Lately I have been so busy at work,
I almost forgot about today.
But what kept me from making that mistake
was the deep cherished love I have for you.
I want to celebrate your birthday,
like if it was our anniversary.
I cooked you breakfast.
I dressed the kids for school.
Then I picked them up from school.
The day is almost over and I still haven't told you
how much I love you.
Forgive me.
But I know that actions speak louder than words.
I look forward to our anniversay,
because I want to show you that
you made the best decision of all.
Trusting in me. And caring for our kids.

With a humble heart and a body
that speaks louder than words.

To my Dear Alex Stimpfl Hits: 613 Hidden Love Poems

I fell for you crazily
But I don't want to tell.
It feels like
I don't feel well.
My mind's going out-of-whack
It wants you to know.
But I can't tell
Besides, there's no one to sell.
Unless you'd say
You wanna know.
Then
I might tell you today.

To Alex, my Hidden Love Hits: 594 Hidden Love Poems

Seeking fun heart to heart
I fell underneath this part.
Knowing love is something hard
I try to remove it from my heart.
But for some reason I can't
That's not what my mind will want.
Because I soon realize there's a chance
You may love me too.
When I talked to you
I thought I was stuck on glue.
I am beat up every day
I hate living this way.
Teased for who I love…
Teased for my looks…
My heart's been caught
on sharp hooks.
But I get this feeling…
You might love me too…
It's out of the blue…
I can only hope
You love me too.
To Alex, my Hidden Love

To a Lonely Star Hits: 3123 Lonely Poems

Why are you always looking at me
You are lonely
You are not so beautiful as the swan star
You don't have so many sisters
from your naissance
It's not your fault
However, I am guilty
I left many people
Maybe they left me
I don't have a smiling flower
I don't have the habit of sending smiling faces
I am often silent in front of the sages
The silence is like a cloud at dusk
I don't know
I don't know what you want
really
The albizzia tree covered a little half of sky
Guess
there are still many nights
"I need you not to be lonely anymore"
