Online friendships charm lies that we have never met Hits: 1617 Online Friend Poems

Although you are a friend of mine
and letters we exchange,
I wouldn't know you on the street,
and doesn't that seem strange?

You hold a place within my life,
unusual and unique;
We share ideals and special dreams,
and still, we do not speak.

I picture what I think you are,
perhaps you picture me.
An intriguing game for both of us
for someone we can't see.

So for this friendship we possess,
we owe this mail a debt,
Perhaps the charm lies in the fact
that we have never met.

One wish Hits: 742 Inspirational Poems

The day you left me,
I will never forget.
It was raining…
and my whole life left

A kiss on the forehead
and a wave goodbye..
nothing more,
and nothing less.

I stood there
not knowing either to cry,
or just stand there
hoping to die.

I loved you,
and you left.
Now only god
can help me.

You didn’t cry,
or say goodnight.
A kiss,
and a wave…
nothing more.

I only have one wish..
because you granted all mine,
before.

I wish that I could,
go back in your arms

One Wish Hits: 792 Inspirational Poems

If I had one wish
I wish that I would wake up each morning
with the sound of your breath on my neck and
the warmth of your lips on my cheeks and
the touch of your fingers on my skin and
your heart beating with mine
knowing that I would never feel this with anyone
other than you!

Old Friend Hits: 1380 Short Rhyming Poems

You came unexpectedly
Don’t even bother to say
Sitting on a corner with a black coffee
Feeling so comfy, trying to be cozy

Hello there my old friend
You still look the same
Tell me how long it has been
Do we have to pretend?

Damn you, shame on you
You’re like falling debris
Shattering every dream
Making me insane

Wish you could see
How time molds me
This is no longer the old me
Waking up is not easy
It was too early
Reminiscing where to stay
In the darkness I used to play

Ode to the Green Hits: 1461 Inspirational Poems

1 FLOWER
At your last breath
A new life is promising
You sacrifice your beauty
To make the green eternity

2 FRUIT
Though burdened with ripeness
You always droop your head modestly
Providing both seed and food
Never have you complained

3 LEAF
Seldom have you received any praise
Though contributing a lot
To the fragrance of fruit

4 BRANCH
Bravely confronting the north wind's attack
Shouldering all the weight
You manage to stand
To prepare strength for the growth of the coming days

5 ROOT
Buried silently underground
You never stop working hard
Nor do you ever struggle for fame

Flower, fruit, leaf, branch and root
Join together into green beauty

October Leaves Hits: 1352 Inspirational Poems

If I can see the Sun
then why am I still
so cold?
Watching the leaves dying
just to be
picked up
again

I'm as naked as the trees
I'm as frozen as the ground
I'll keep watching the leaves
as we both fall down

So I'll follow October
as she slowly
walks away
I'm sure I'll get it
right
next time
I promise

O' My school Hits: 880 Short Funny Poems

It's such a drool
such a bore
I'm gonna snore

Taking the test
about the west
if I fail
I'm gonna wail

No one will love you as I do Hits: 9346 Short Love Poems

Baby!
I need you,
I want you,
I can't live without you.
As I sit by myself,
All I can do,
Is think about the days,
When I used to hold you.
What I would give,
To go back to those days
You mean the world to me
And I want you to stay.
I pray to God
To send you back to me.
Because no one will love you as I do.
You just wait and see.

Near the Wishing Well Hits: 860 Long Poems

Near the wishing well, our hands entwined;
Where stand we to see the direction of our lives.

Frustrated and angry with all that we have tried;
I’m tired and dying, hoping to be revived.

A copper coin from me to you, to give to the well
To pay its due.
My hopes I toss in too,
Oh please! Please, make these dreams come true!

Beneath the calm and glassy pool, an army of hopes and dreams lies still;
Lulled to sleep in waters cool, entrapped within a frigid chill.
Cast in ages past and long ago by others in righteous act;
By lovers and dreamers or so, like brothers of a secret pact.

With bated breath and fragile heart, I’m anxious for your toss.
Each moment casts a fiery dart, and this wait becomes a cross.

I wonder if your wish will be as mine.
Will our hearts merge to form a single line?
Or, and I dread the thought,
Will you commit a crime?
Will your soul be bought; will your cast be far from mine?

Of your choice I have no assurance.
Of mine, I’ve known forever.
I have loved you without insurance, and I will love you ever.

And as that golden hope floats from fragile fingers,
Toward the awaiting ocean of whispered prayers,
I know that in its sweeping, graceful arch there lingers
Abounding joy eternal, or torturous, painful cares.

Here near the wishing well, our hands entwined;
Where stand we to see the direction of our lives.
