Old Mice Creed
I used to pass on this old street
Where old men hang and talk sweet
Their truth and wisdom always make me sweat
No one dares to listen, no one gives a shit
Bullshit!
I’m too good for this!
Too proud, too wise, like mice
Before my life falls like dice…
Hit the bottom and roll over like ice
I will take the mysterious advice
With weary eyes of dying mice
Regrets felt in the soft-spoken wise
A piece of Christ, a peace will rise
It’s no surprise, takes a lot of sacrifice
Don’t have to be crucified
Don’t have to be terrified
Just find the right guide
And take the ride…
No matter how cursive the citywide
You’ll always find your way in the countryside
Where simplicity and fulfillment derived
And real life hide in beautiful someone’s side
I don’t know how to get there
I’m just here listening
To the old mice creed
As I seat along the old street
Where I used to pass and say Bullshit!
If I have to say goodbye
If I have to say goodbye
Would you sing me a lullaby?
Like a child longing at night
If I have to say goodbye
Would you like us to kiss?
Like lemonade sweet and cold as ice
If I have to say goodbye
Would you say words is just an alibi
Like poet without a poem
If I have to say goodbye
Would you write me in heaven?
Like a lonely song without rhythms
If I have to say goodbye
Would you mourn and cry?
Like a sunset fading in the sky
If I have to say goodbye
Would you love me?
Before I die
This poem is also about:Untitled Again
Time stops and the world seems so silent
Memories begin to whisper in my ears
And tears begin to fall, as the wind makes its final blows
Like a faceless ghost, haunts my dream every night
My heart beats faster every time you appear
Shaking, afraid and full of fears
I once fall into the deepest pit
Kneeling down and almost breathless
I pretend to be strong, when I feel weaker
I tried to fight, knowing I could not win
My heart is tired and weary
Truly, it is insane to believe in dreams
For I know when I wake up it will never happen
But it would be much insane to believe in nothing
When will it mend to love someone again?
Perhaps, the answer can only be found within…
Freedom
The essence of freedom
Grows stronger in wisdom
Like a rainbow after the rain
Beauty that can only be seen
Day by day I struggled to be free
In a world built with boundaries
When will it end?
To live life in a one world again
Look at us, as men
Fighting each other with no end
Innovations with cruelest intention
Ruled by few with greed ambition
Look at us, as women
Respect no longer being given
Elders shamelessly taken care by others
If only tears seen, that day you were leaven
Look at us, as children
Grows up in violence
Disrespecting our parents
And acting out seems like a video game
Is this our tradition?
Or a well planned stabilization of a nation?
A decadence of fading truth in motion
Where freedom is just only
A mere pigment of my imagination
The way we used to be
Look at you now, you’re glowing!
All grown up and amazing
Sometimes you’re naughty
And cute when you’re teasing
You’re full of joy and happiness
Restless and yet enjoying
Not a care in the world
As long as you’re playing
Eat up, drink up
And play the toys I’m bringing
It tickles my inner thoughts
The way you’re singing
No hatred known
Innocence pure as gold
Life is beautiful
If only you don’t grow old!
