Goodbye, Sweet Angel

I’ve seen you in dresses, I’ve seen you in sweatshirts

Every picture reminds me that death hurts.

 

I loved the sweep of your hair, the curve of your smile

Getting by without you is more than a trial.

 

You couldn’t stand the pain, you couldn’t take the fall

So you saved yourself by leaving us all.

 

I’ll miss you today, I’ll miss you tomorrow

But I won’t let myself be overcome with sorrow.

Beauty incarnate, she doth render
A gentle embrace from her is treasure

Crawling

Velvet walls surround my sorrow

Wonders at the lack of tomorrow

A shattered memory of illumination

Tangled within it, constant information

Every inch is a confliction

But the stark reality is my addiction

Never once halt the retreat

The catalyst of your own defeat

Gaze toward the unknown

See destruction, all windblown

Find the star, the concious of your being

Take the time to remember what you’re seeing

Admit the wrong in how you think

Tie your ankles and make yourself sink

Forget the world, draw in on yourself

Put all your worries away on a shelf..

Let them build up, and burn, and seethe

Look within and embrace whats beneath

My Secret Shared

I’m going to share my secret

I’ve kept it for so long

I’m not sure what people will say

They’ll all think it’s wrong

 

I’ve never felt just like a girl

It’s never felt like me

I know now that I’m a boy

Will anyone else see?

I’m cutting my hair short

I love it oh so much

 

I love finally being myself

But now I’m happy finally

I Just Miss You

I miss your hugs so dearly

I’m feeling so alone

My hand longs for its other half

The patient lilt of your tone

 

Writing about you hurts

But the truth needs to be said

I wish you were still here with me

To help my longing to be fed

 

I’m so lonely without your touch

I crave for your kiss

Don’t think that it’s all I want

It’s only you I miss

Seemed to calm me down

But now it seems the slightest thing
