and all over the World
children eagerly search under the tree
to see what special gift Santa left them
Your gift to me won’t be wrapped and placed under the tree
It will never be a disappointment
and never go out of style
It cannot be exchanged
and I will never be tired of it
Your gift brings a tear to my eye
and a smile to my lips
It makes my heart skip a beat
whenever I think you cared enough to give it to me
This Christmas I received something very precious to me
More precious than all the money
and all the gold in the world
This Christmas you gave me the greatest gift of all
