Speechless

My voice isn’t there anymore

It grew silent, it fades in and out

I would say something but not when your yelling at me

Your voice tunes mine out

My mouth is glued shut, I want to scream:

“Don’t you see what you’re doing to me?

Your making me speechless!”

You yell at me everyday, I just can’t take it!

I cry everyday, so hard I can’t breathe

Every time I say something, you take it the wrong way

So now I must watch what I say

Or stay silent, stay speechless

So go ahead and yell, I’m listening
