What I chose I Did Not See

What I chose I Did Not See
Rate this poem

What I saw is what I chose

What I chose I did not see

What it was it is no more

Thought it would be nice

Just something I needed to brighten up my life

But I am now stuck in this struggle

I am stuck in this reality

To choose between responsibilities and happiness

It is so clear yet so complicated

This is not something I wanted

But what we want we can’t always have

If you made your bed you would have to sleep on it in the end

There is no running away

Regrets will follow your way

  1. Deep. I appreciate your mind. Yes, we have regrets that line up there, but now I’m more cautious when I pursue, hehe, even though I’m a doer. I see this trait from you too :-).
