Come and walk beside me.
Close together.
I wonder, do you love me?
A bit farther.
The darkness, a veil around us.
Not much longer.
Moon and stars a heavenly chorus.
Time, our father.
Souls and hearts need not words.
How I love her.
Your eyes say all I’ve never heard.
And here I linger.
