I thought I had a friend,

Someone who truly cared.

She lied and gossiped and ruined my day

I thought that she cared.

Whoever planted that rumor

Was a stinking lying cheat.

I think it was the same girl

Who this poem is about.

She’s a snake in the grass.

I’m glad for my real friends.

Let’s just call her Giraffe.

She listened and believed

And now it’s all good.

But that snake in the grass is lurking,

trying to pop out.

Snake in the grass,

I trusted you.

  1. It is very hard to find true friends. Most of the people who call them selfs friends does not even know what the word means.Because if they did then they would not lie, cheat, decieve, pretend and gossip about us.
