Like a Fool

Rate this poem

Fly,
Fly on the wings of an owl
Ugly like you and your days
Run,
As fast as you can before
Before I get to you
Cause I’m lost
Should I hit you
Or should I kiss your lips
If I let you go a part of me
Will escape from me before
Before you walk out that door
If I let you in I would forget
Everything you might have said
And I will fall for you all over again
Like I’ve always did
Like a fool
Walk,
Walk away with your pride
With your bittersweet lies
I can’t take it anymore
I can’t stand you anymore
Walk away inside that door
Walk with all your shit
I can’t stand you away for another second
I can’t stand you anymore away from my arms
Cause I’m lost
Should I hit you
Or should I kiss your lips
If I let you go a part of me
Will escape from me before
Before you walk out that door
If I let you in I would forget
Everything you might have said
And I will fall for you all over again
Like I’ve always did
Like a fool
