Every Reason Everywhere

Rate this poem

Millions of stars I’ve seen all these years
never knew their reason for existence
and just when we met I figured out why
a single look into your eyes was the key
to broaden my horizons up to the sky
I’ll tell a secret just between you and me
stars twinkle in everlasting persistence
as your eyes would do far away from tears

I feel your existence everywhere
shinning to guide me through my way
looking after me here and there

Millions of songs I’ve heard all these years
always wondering about why they were sang
and just when we met I finally realized
they are merely significant as the big bang
referring them all to you gets me hypnotized
songs about you describing romance
songs made for you so you can dance

I feel your existence everywhere
singing to guide me through my way
listening from me here and there

Millions of smells I’ve smelled all these years
trying to point out their mysterious presence
and just when we met mysteries were revealed
their alterations serve as means of remembrance
but yours is the type that gets the soul healed
an essence that is impossible for anyone to forget
your silhouette is chasing me since the day we met

I feel your existence everywhere
spreading your smell through my way
and I’m sniffing it here and there

Millions of words I’ve wrote all these years
including poems expressing love in joy and misery
and just when we met and had our first touch
millions of thoughts crossed within my mind
thoughts and words to make previous poems a history
a touch so soft that I had never sensed such
I know no words that would portray your kind

I feel your existence everywhere
guarding me, remembering me
calling me, inspiring me
far from million miles away

Step in confidence far away from fears
Let the sun drown deep into the sea within your eyes
push the moon to the edge of envy by few blush smiles
days and nights would collide as you’re about to rise
You’re beauty over scores queens and princesses of all times
elegantly harmonious as the melody of a poem full of rhymes.
