Let It Go
Rate this poem

He smiles the smile you lost long ago.

He frowns a frown we all know.

Don’t be a stranger to love she says to him,

Don’t be on edge with something that happened so long ago.

Let the past stay the past.

Let the present be present.

Things only last so long.

He has a scar, a scar that will never be gone, but can be forgiven.

He will never forget
but
No one expects him to!
