How

What to say to the person that loved you once??
How do you explain to yourself
that it's not how it used to be???
How do you not get nervous when you see him?
How do you walk away and try not to cry??
How can you look at him
and not remember what it was like??
How can you not think of him
for the rest of the day??
How do you pretend you don't care
when you hear from him??
How do you go to bed
and not think of all those good times you spent with him??
How can you not smile when you remember
how he used to make you laugh??
How are you going to spend the cold winter without him??
It's just not the same...
how do you believe all the shit he did to you??
Why are you still nice to him??
After all you cried…
Why do you still smile at him?
How do you not think of him
when you listen to that "stupid song"??
How do you make yourself understand
that the love is gone??
How do you make the pain go away??
How do you explain to yourself
that you are not the girl he has been waiting for??
How do you forget all those promises
and pretend like he never said them??
How can you erase all the memories??
How can you pretend like nothing ever happened??
How??

Blood stained heart

My blood stained heart will always show
From so much hurt he did not know
They said love would make you cry
They didn't warn me it made you wanna die

My blood stained heart everyone will see
What your love can truely be
And once you hear what's to be said
Your eyes will soon be red

My blood stained heart is turning blue
Cause my heart is hurting through and through
I wish it didn't hurt so bad
Cause all it does is make me sad

My blood stained heart will always remind me
Of the love which is now behind me
When we broke up all it caused was pain
And out of that pain was there anything to gain?

Given Chance

Somehow it exists in my own little world
Knowing it will always be a curse without sign
Indeed, can only be seen and be understood
In someone's truthful sight and fearless tongue

Aware or unaware, indeed I made a mistake
Hopelessly without your guiding light
I am afraid, lost and greatly in disguise
Believe me if only I could undo the past
I will do it before your gentle heart starts to ache

Sooner or later I know my life would be in the next
Bear in mind without your sincerest forgiveness
I am miserable and in great loneliness
Without you, I know I will crawl
Before I will learn to walk again
Believe me when I say this to you
You are my life and I still needed you

If given a chance
From now on
I will hold your heart
As gently as I can
Just to love and keep you
Once again…
Forevermore…

Be Free

I wish you were there
Just to show that you care
But you already have someone
And I am left with none

Just to be with you once more
Is something my heart longs for
I can't get you out of my head
Go haunt somebody else instead

I am so very confused
My heart has become bruised
I want you to be here
And take away all my fear

I wish I could see the future
And maybe get some closure
I miss you more than ever before
I want to be the one you adore

Why cant things just work out
You're the one I don't want to be without
If it is not supposed to be
Then get outta my head and let me be free

Tears of Sadness

feeling sad
left out
not known why
now tears start
to fill my eyes with sadness
why did I deserve this pain
after spilling my feeling to you
I wait for your call
and your text
still nothing
I just fall asleep
feeling sad
hoping happiness
would come
after I wake up
but still no sign of you
longing
to hear your voice
to rescue me from this
tears of sadness
hurt that you cause
waiting and waiting
as tears start
to roll down my face
I lie here
tears falling down endlessly
as sadness takes over once again
so I cry myself to sleep
hoping to feel better
when I wake.........

Unrequited Love

I gaze at you from afar
Wishing I was her
the pretty girl you cherish
its more than I can bear

You said you loved me once
but that was all an lie
you left me here alone
now all I can do is cry

You picked me up and used me
as I was love sick fool
then you went back to your lover
the prettiest girl in school

now youve forgotten about me
but I cant let you go
boy you belong with me
I just cannot take no

so Im lying here in my bedroom
taking my last few gasps
Thinking of my soulmate
and the love that didnt last

Gone but There

Day by day,
Night by night,
I'd never let,
Him out of sight.

Creep out of bed,
Open the door,
Just see him,
There once more.

Back to bed,
And off to sleep,
But in my dream,
I weep and weep.

I wake up fast,
And run next door,
The bed is vacant,
He's gone once more.

I take a seat,
And smell the air,
Physically gone,
But spiritually there.

You are making great progress in poem writing in comparison with your Old Poems. Congrats! I also sense the change of your life. I do wish that poets should be lucky at all aspects.

Real Dream

The same thoughts running through her mind,
Of someone who is warm and kind,
Wishing the past was once more,
As she lays alone, curled, on the floor.

The tears slowly wet her cheeks,
As she counts the past in terms of weeks,
Drawing faint hearts on the page,
Knowing that this would always age.

But failing to see why things would fold,
Looking deeply depressed and feeling cold,
Thinking things just aren't right,
As she lays alone all through the night.

She closes her eyes and drifts to sleep,
Seeing him with every heartbeat,
Touching his lips and holding him so,
Telling him she'll never let go.

She looks into his deep, dark eyes,
And knows the past wasn't hidden in lies,
Their lips touch gently and in she leans,
This seams so real, it can't be a dream.

It feels as though this should be fate,
But soon enough she slowly awakes,
To lay alone and still on the floor,
Wishing to have this back once more.

This poem is so lovely and I could really feel the meaning it brings just within every bit of the word, and this poem reminds me of my past.

Life Pain

Dark deep thoughts in which I fear
Often wishing I could disappear,
Problems I cannot bear to solve,
Wishing I was no longer involved.

I wish I could fly so far away,
From painful dilemmas I face each day,
Or curl up tightly on the floor,
To cry out all the hurt, once more.

Life hardly ever seems to be fair,
And you hurt end up hurting those who care,
I often think that life would be,
A hell of a lot better without me.

Not only do we share the same feelings, we share the same name, same spelling. I have felt this way before, and it seemed impossible that things would change, but I'm getting better, I started focusing on what I can do for others even little stuff like holding a door or paying for someones coffee, random things. It built my self worth knowing I could help other people. I hope you find peace and gratitude.

Dying Flower

The flower that once stood tall and strong,
Is dying now, but what went wrong?
A lack of love was in the air,
The fact of knowing no one cares,
Day by day a petal drops,
Lying on mud like heavy thoughts,
Like blood stops pumping through one's veins,
The withering plant no longer gains,
The vital things to survive alone,
But in the wind loneliness is blown,
Brown dead leaves are hanging low,
The flower will no longer grow,
Instead it droops into the ground,
Where in death the only joy is found.
