Perfect Love

All we had of laughs and tears,
We both kept it a secret so no one hears,
I thought we could stay together,
But I knew these days wouldn't last forever,
She first treated me like a friend,
But I knew this couldn't be the end,
I saw the sun rising upon the shores,
Who would stay in while she could be outdoors,
We used to have fun under the rain,
Such moments were magical that words cannot explain,
Till that day when we had our first kiss,
That day is in my mind and I will always miss,
The love we shared grew strongly and fast,
She was everything to me, my present, future and past,
Words cannot describe the beauty of her eyes,
She is perfect that she can never tell lies,
The happiness of the world is felt in her smile,
Describing it would take years and years, not just a while,
All the love we felt was real,
It was innocent, perfect and pure that no one can feel,
Keeping us from each other would be tough,
Even the strongest power on earth won't be enough,
She was the closest one to my heart,
Nothing in the world could make us apart,
She thought I didn't need her that much,
But all what I needed was only her touch,
She is the one I loved with all my might,
The one dream to kiss tonight.

A Hug

Hugs can be brief and pleasant
or they can be lasting and warm.
But whether the hug be short or long,
it can ease the darkest storm.

A hug is to make you feel safe
and to let you know I care.
It's to make the fearful moments,
a little easier to bear.

When I have my arms around you,
I feel no worries or alarm.
It's then I know without a doubt,
to you there can come no harm.

But if we were to look more closely,
the truth we'd clearly see.
The hugs we share to comfort you,
are really helping me.

Your hugs fill an empty place,
that's been in my heart for years

My Life

I open my eyes
But maybe its better they stay closed
For what misery today will bring
I just don't know

Every day is like the one before
I find I'm more hurt and lost
Than ever before

I can't remember a time
Where I was happy and smiling
It feels like forever
That inside I've been dying

It's strange
But I've got use to it
Being this way
It's part of my life now
Depressed everyday

I thrive on the sadness
That tears at my heart
I find some sort of comfort in it
This pain that rips me apart

I was once smiling
Once warm
And so care free
Now I look at myself
And say
"What has happened to me?"

What made me this way?
So cold and lost
Were the memories so bad
That I forced them to be forgot

How I can brake free?
And leave this behind
I'm tired of being this way all the time

I just want to be held close
But I know I will push everyone away
I'm too scared to let anyone in
Because I know no one will stay

How do you fix a soul
Which has pieces long gone
How do you fix a life?
That has gone so badly wrong

How do you save a guy?
Who can't save himself?
How can you hear him
When he silently cries for help?

How do you save me?
When I've fallen so far
How can you heal these wounds
Which have turned to scars?

Damn baby,
I wish there was a way for me
to show you how much you mean to me.
I wish I could show you
how much I love you
and how much your love means to me,
but thats kinda hard, because it is so much!
My love for you is so strong,
aint nothing in the world
ever going to change how I feel for you.
Everytime I close my eyes,
your face is what I see.
You're on my mind all day and night,
even when Im asleep you're running through my head.
You mean so much to me,
I cherish each and every minute we spend together.
I want time to freeze
and it just be you and me always and forever.
Each day going through
not being able to wait to talk to you.
Its a longing in my heart to hear your voice
because when I hear you I light up.
you lighten my whole world.
You make me smile and make me so happy,
when no one else could.

I feel as I am so close to you, even though my tears tell me Im not.
I can see your face in our little cloud, but I need help to get there

They say you never realise what you have until its gone, well

Emptiness

Peaceful Place

In my room, I sit tonight..
No lights, no noise..
Just in candle light.
Just need my time of solitude...
to detox the mind...
and for the soul to be soothed...
I let my problems float away...
as I relax my body...
and reflect on my ways...
I begin to lose myself...
in a peaceful place...
I close my eyes...
and for a minute life fades..
I drift into dreams...
of marvelous things...
Where the animals roam..
and the free bird flies...
that is where..
my restless heart lies...
In a place that I can call my own..
Where only the best of things are shown..
Where in the morning..
the sun shines bright...
and when darkness lurks..
the stars fill the sky..
Where the breeze is mellow...
and the skies are clear...
and the sound of nature...
is all I hear.
and my problems are gone...
but I know this sanctuary...
never really lasts that long..
cause my candle flickers out...
and I leave my special place...
and it gets dark and quiet..
no light upon my face..
Reality is back...
and yet I still smile...
cause my trip was mighty lovely..
even if it lasted just a little while..
So when life gets me down...
the lights go off, and my mind drifts away...
to again return...
to my special place....
Peaceful...
Dreamy..
Passionate..

What I Feel

I searched among the many memories
In my head to see if I could find,
A little something that would say
Just what was on my mind.

However there isn't one,
That captured it just right,
For no one can comprehend,
Just what I'd like to say.

I even find it difficult
To try to write it down,
Even in this very poem
For how shall I portray you?

This beautiful girl that I admire
To say I have feelings for you,
More than my heart can maintain,
Just enough to fill an ocean.

When Im thinking about you,
I close my eyes and what I see,
Is someone I adore
A person who is beautiful,
Just by what I see inside.

Mere words cannot describe
The main qualities you show,
The love and caring nature that
You share with those you know
Causing my heart to appreciate you even more.
