Night for us

The night was made for romance.
In the night our two hearts dance.
Under the stars our lips touch.
In the garden your embrace means so much.

The night was made for love.
Our hearts cooing like a white dove.
Your eyes sparkling like diamonds so white.
I love you darling with all my might.

The night was made for caring and trust.
And darling, God made this night for us.

A Hug

Hugs can be brief and pleasant
or they can be lasting and warm.
But whether the hug be short or long,
it can ease the darkest storm.

A hug is to make you feel safe
and to let you know I care.
It's to make the fearful moments,
a little easier to bear.

When I have my arms around you,
I feel no worries or alarm.
It's then I know without a doubt,
to you there can come no harm.

But if we were to look more closely,
the truth we'd clearly see.
The hugs we share to comfort you,
are really helping me.

Your hugs fill an empty place,
that's been in my heart for years
A hug from you is the best way,
to dry up these age old tears.

Friends or Lovers

Friends, lovers or other
What shall we be?
A decision I can not make,
But one that we need

Im thinking about you every moment,
Each and every day
Yet, still you remain… my love,
so very far away.

I dream of the things
We are yet to share
I dream of our embraces,
And our expressions of care.

I hope and pray my love
Somehow, I will touch your heart
So you will choose my dear
Friends, while lovers, not apart

I yearn for you my darling
To hold you in my arms,
To feel the heave of your chest,
To know your passionate charms

This heart aches, my little Angel
When I envision the softness of your face,
Warmth of your lips, as we share a kiss,
These are just some of the things I chase

I offer you the choice my love
The choice… Should you dare.
Of a life filled with devotion,
With hope, love and care

I ask you now, to make a choice
For I know which I would take
Friends, lovers or other
The choice that counts, is the one you make.
To be, or not… together.

How

What to say to the person that loved you once??
How do you explain to yourself
that it's not how it used to be???
How do you not get nervous when you see him?
How do you walk away and try not to cry??
How can you look at him
and not remember what it was like??
How can you not think of him
for the rest of the day??
How do you pretend you don't care
when you hear from him??
How do you go to bed
and not think of all those good times you spent with him??
How can you not smile when you remember
how he used to make you laugh??
How are you going to spend the cold winter without him??
It's just not the same...
how do you believe all the shit he did to you??
Why are you still nice to him??
After all you cried…
Why do you still smile at him?
How do you not think of him
when you listen to that "stupid song"??
How do you make yourself understand
that the love is gone??
How do you make the pain go away??
How do you explain to yourself
that you are not the girl he has been waiting for??
How do you forget all those promises
and pretend like he never said them??
How can you erase all the memories??
How can you pretend like nothing ever happened??
How??

You did

You did this to me
But that view is one you don't see
You are blind to what has become
With each hit, you feel more numb

I take it on for both of us
With this cold I loose trust
You've done to me whats been done to you
It is all your fault, you caused this shade of blue

I will hate you, I promise that
That is the pain we end at
My thoughts of you will end
My heart will begin to mend

I thought I knew you
I thought you were true
But now I know they were right
This is a battle I shouldn't fight

I see myself down the road
Far away from this pain and cold
I live in sunshine and happiness
Its there I find forgiveness

Go on to those you wanted more
There will come a time when you hit the floor
But I won't be there
I won't care

It is you who is alone
You have no place to call home
I took my heart back
Because of everything you seem to lack.

Be Free

I wish you were there
Just to show that you care
But you already have someone
And I am left with none

Just to be with you once more
Is something my heart longs for
I can't get you out of my head
Go haunt somebody else instead

I am so very confused
My heart has become bruised
I want you to be here
And take away all my fear

I wish I could see the future
And maybe get some closure
I miss you more than ever before
I want to be the one you adore

Why cant things just work out
You're the one I don't want to be without
If it is not supposed to be
Then get outta my head and let me be free

Have I

Have I told you that I love you
have I told you that I care.
Have I told you that I can’t stop thinking of you,
your eyes your smile your hair.
Have I told you that I want to be with you
and that you will always be mine?
Have I told you that I want to stay with you
until the end of time?

My Nobody

I had NOBODY to love me
NOBODY who cared
when I cried
NOBODY was there
there was NOBODy to trust
there was NOBODY to keep me warm
to protect me from the cold.
I had NOBODY to love my strengths
but also except my flaws
I had NOBODY to lean on
who was there to break my falls
Im so happy
Im so lucky
this is because...I found my NOBODY

Miss Dad

I would call out "Daddy"
when was angry, scared or sad.

When I thought Jennifer was hogging you,
you would stay with me like glue.

You'd talk to me, tell me don't be scared,
I could always tell you cared.

When my friends were mad at me you'd stay throughout the night,
you would be there for me and hold me tight.

You were someone I loved that I could call,
you would help me when I would fall.

You'd kiss my boo boo and make it better,
when I went to camp you'd write me a letter.

You would write how much you loved me
and said that with you I wish I could be.

While I was reading I would grin
as I would wish the same back to him.

We would play games for hours on end,
whenever I had a broken heart you would mend.

In restaurants while waiting to go,
we would play tic-tac-toe to get three in a row.

I wish that you would walk through the door,
because I miss you more and more.

I know that you are in a better place,
but I am selfish in this case.

I wish that I could have you back in my arms,
to see your special smile and charms.

I miss your smile, your care, your love.
You remind me of a precious dove.

I love you with all my heart,
but you've known that from the start.

I know the world will still go on,
even though my loved one's gone.

Dying Flower

The flower that once stood tall and strong,
Is dying now, but what went wrong?
A lack of love was in the air,
The fact of knowing no one cares,
Day by day a petal drops,
Lying on mud like heavy thoughts,
Like blood stops pumping through one's veins,
The withering plant no longer gains,
The vital things to survive alone,
But in the wind loneliness is blown,
Brown dead leaves are hanging low,
The flower will no longer grow,
Instead it droops into the ground,
Where in death the only joy is found.
