Woman Smile

Picture the sky without the stars above,
or a forest without trees.
Picture a person without a friend to love,
or an ocean without a breeze.

Picture a birthday without presents,
or a playground without a child.
But the saddest picture there is to see,
is a woman's face without a smile.

The face of a woman was made to smile,
and thereby she is blessed.
Above the creatures of field and stream,
the birds and all the rest.

A woman is just a little lower,
than the angels in the sky.
The reason is in her smile,
it's there her beauty lies.

He broke her heart

She's fifteen years old, and experienced love,
she's been hurt more than she can count,
and been disgraced.

Shes been teased, made fun of, and called every name,
she's old enough to know, its never a game.
She fell in love with a man four years her age,
she feel so deeply, so pathetically, and he made her pay.

He took her heart and broke it,
he took her soul and shattered it,
he took her smile and bent it,
He took her laugh and made it vanish.

She no longer smiles, no longer laughs,
just sits in the corner, thinking about the past,
to when she could just sing and dance,
when she had a full heart, and a soul to match.

But now all she can do is cry and cut,
watch as her blood drops to the floor,
See her vision start to fade,
As she whispers his name.

Laying upon the floor, knife from her hand, now
lay by the door,
she lays there, for a second or more,
and remembers life when he was there,
before he left her, for another.

"Honey, I'm home!" he'd call,
and she'd run to him, laughing so hard,
"Baby, I missed you!" she'd kiss him,
and he'd return her kiss and he hugged her,
so tight, so close, always closer
than before.

Now her eyes are bright,
bright with memories,
seeing herself fight with her parents,
seeing herself fight with her lover,
seeing herself doing things she shouldn't have,
oh she has so much to regret,
and no way to make it up.

Suddenly, her eyes go dull,
as her body begins to go cold,
her eyes are now, slowly starting to close,
as her blood runs on the floor.

On her gravestone, it read:
Here lays Elizabeth, with heart of gold,
she loved everyone, man and animal.
But to one man, her heart she gave,
and he hurt her so badly, shes in the grave.
Let the angel who lies here, rest in peace,
Because no one deserves it more than she,
the dear.

Begin with love

I'm no angel thats for sure
Just please tell me why
these things are happening to me?
Every time Im thinking of you
I always catch my breath
and I'm still standing here
And you're miles away
and I'm wonderin' why you left
and there's a storm that's raging
Through my frozen heart tonight
it’s my heart that’s breaking
Down this long distance line tonight
And although my eyes may cry a thousand tears
And if by chance I live a million years
I believe one thing will still be true
In love I will find the answer
To the question
That is written in my heart
Have faith and it will guide me
On my journey
If I remember from the start
It all begins with love

A broken heart

.. heart break is an odd kind of hurt,
'cause your not dying, your not even sick..
.. for all instance and purposes, your perfectly fine,
yet, inside, where your heart used to be, you hurt so much,
that you can't breathe, you can't sleep,
you can't stop the tears from falling..
.. you may eat too much, you may eat not at all..
.. none smokers light up, none drinkers find a bar..
.. a broken heart is one of the worlds greatest equalizer,
'cause it can turn a sweetest angel to a freakin' devil..

Angel of Hope

I walk towards school and the sun every weekday
to look down to only see a shadow with angel wings ahead
it amazed me
to realize that death had followed me
the next day I did the same
realized that this angel of death and darkness
had giant BLACK wings
it saw me and flew into the sunlight
disappeared with such a sight
years later now Im in high school
this angel of death was now gray
thats when I realize that this angel of darkness
had stayed in my shadows to this very day
not death or darkness but maybe my hopes
we the one who was really gray

Goodbye Love

I thought you were my angel from up above
and our love was endless love
you played with me like I was a toy
but now to me your just a boy
I thought you were my everything
and you loved me
I still cant believe how you turned out to be,
just some guy
so now with this poem I give you the last of me
and my goodbye

My Heart

With all my heart

I can still remember the days
I've been hurt so many times
A hopeless world of broken promises
So much suffering and the hurt still remains
Knowing I like you and I've taken the risk
So confused and I don't know how to deal with it
For I know you feel the same, you've been hurt too

Why trust and love seem fading in our world?
Does good deed now seek an audience?
Like charity waits for its final recognition
Need some time for awhile before it heals
Even though the scars will remind me of you
I've gambled everything, my hope
My life in the palm of your powerful words

You've given me wings and took me high
Like an angel lifting a human soul to heaven
Afraid, yes I am but trusted you with all my heart
Suddenly in our journey you let go for no reason
Letting me fall in bottomless pit of unknown abyss
If only you took me where you are
I am sure I could love you with all my heart

Now I am crawling in the valley of death
Without no one to hold neither to cry on
All I got is my dying dreams and a token of hope
I drink with my tears to just quench my thirst
Oh, shameless agony of a begging heart
Take me to the light, so I may find my way
Let the sky dim for it's burning me, so I may rest
And may the rain pour from careless heaven
So I may wash away the dust of my shivering soul
And hide away my worthless tears of my misery

Someday, somehow things will fall into its places
I bear that in mind for you are being treasured
Where the maker would take me to my final destiny
I would proudly say, I've loved and saved one soul, just one
A life who dares to make a difference in my journey
In a world built for those who understand
The worth of a meaningful living
No matter how unbelievable or crazy I am to those
Who ever understand the fulfillment and joy it brings
For I will still love and to trust someone
Whatever that might be and even it will take away
The last breath of my dying lost soul
