Grow Together
This Website was built from a personal Website in 2002 and got its own domain in 2003. When I built the personal Website it was hosted free without a domain. I launched the person Website because I had some important friends in my life and I had so many thoughts and interests to share with them. For an introvert like me, a Web space in modern days is like a girl's diary, collection of her favorite verses, of correspondence with her friends, the thoughts they exchanged ... is a space in her heart.
I didn't expect the Website would be so popular getting its own domain and become a theme Website. I still love this domain and Website the most although it's almost a charitable free service Website, in that it's my maiden Website. The uniqueness of this Website compared with other poetry Websites is probably at its purity.
Now the poems I wrote and translated and some favorite poems I collected at the very beginning are just a very small portion of this grand Website. Most poems are submitted by visitors who are so young and talented and those inspiring poems get 6 times comments from 30,000 visitors per month. Poets expressed their own feelings and also help express the similar feelings of readers; they communicated and become friends. I sincerely wish this Website is a cradle of future writers.
This free service is so welcome by visitors. To cover the hosting and domain expenses and the time I spend proofreading the poems and updating the Website, I implement some ads integrated with the site and avoid the popups. I also moved penpal and other sections to other Websites to make this Website focus on its main theme.
Recently I started to write Sponsored Reviews. I have a very close relationship with my readers, and I would rather guard my Website's reputation with honest points of view than hurting it with false opinions. Therefore, my reviews collect feedback for advertisers' products or services genuinely.
SponsoredReviews.com is a paid blogging system I'm happily dealing with. Apart from their unique and outstanding features and services that outrun their competitors, I appreciate the enterpriser's wise and contemporary business concept and earnest attitude. They care about advertisers and bloggers. They spend time summarizing a lot of resourceful tips to help the growth of advertisers and bloggers. We grow together and become stronger together.
The most impressive tips they selflessly present to bloggers are concentrated in their post called "27+1 Tips for Building and Maintaining a Blog Audience" and they encourage bloggers to add more to it every day.
I also would like to contribute one more tip. Since their first tip said, "... Try to find a segment of an industry that no one else covers, or at the very least, try to find a way to present your blog in a light that makes it stand out from everyone else’s on the same subject ... " I would like to perfect this tip in this way:
It's always wise and enjoyable to pick something you are fond of and good at than either "drifting with the current" or trying to walk on a road "less traveled". When you write something you enjoy, you write it in your own writing style and this makes your blog unique. Writing style is formed by personality; a certain percentage of readers will like your style just as they favor your personality. To find a road "less traveled", especially the one you are familar with, is somewhat difficult. The fewer competitors, the less audience; the more competitors, the more audience. The importance is that your content is unique, then, the fewer or more competitors, you always maximize your exposure, because your uniqueness makes you more competitive.
As an advertiser, if you think my blog content and writing style fit your appetite or my audience is the one you are looking for, or for any reason, you believe your investment is worthwhile, please find me at: SponsoredReviews and I'm pretty sure you will be happy and contented to deal with both SponsoredReviews and me.
This blog is interested in Review Exchange.
